Antique Taxis is the oldest ride in the park. Its history begins in 1895, before the creator of AstroWorld, Judge Roy Hofheinz, was even born. It was built in 1895 by the Dentzel Carousel Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It opened with AstroWorld in 1968 and is still in the park today.
