Warp 2000 opened in 1981 as Warp 10 in International Plaza. In 1986, it was replaced by Looping Starship. The ride reopened as Warp 2000 in Mexicana in 1987. In 2001, it got a bright pink, yellow, and blue color scheme to go along with the theme. It is a Huss Troika ride. The individual rings spin while the entire structure spins and then the arms raise.
